Silencer
Contrast Akustik offer you the design, manufacture and assembly of splitter attenuators for use in ducts and ventilation units, as well as telephone system and disc-type silencers. The attenuators work according to the absorption principle (conversion of sound energy into heat), in the case of the version with splitters, the resonator principle (conversion of sound energy in an oscillation system) is additionally used. silencers
and attenuators provide a very wide band attenuation and in fact without additional internals in the low to high-frequency spectrum by the combination of appropriate splitters. Contrast Akustik carries out manufacture in accordance with your drawings or designs on the basis of your technical data.
In order to suppress the structure-borne noise, the decoupling of the silencers by suitable compensators is advisable. A vibration-insulated bearing system for the piping should also be continued in the area of the silencers. Likewise, adequate thermal expansion and additional insulation are to be taken into account in the case of excessively high emission of structure-borne noise. Even flow onto the whole silencer cross-section should be ensured.
